Readers!!!
What do you do to your old gadget: no matter if it’s still in good condition or malfunctioned?
1. Still using it for backups? (for gadget that’s still in good condition)
2. Throw into the bin including the boxes containing warranty card, manual, cables?
3. Keep them?
4. Sell them?
5. Send for repair?

Sony Cybershot T-33
Above is my digital camera and had been using it for 6 years. At the moment, this camera is having 2 problems: faded photos & dots on LCD screen. Since it’s hard for me to snap photos or record a video, so I went to Sony Service Centre yesterday and asked one of the staff to check my camera. He told me it’s TOTALLY not worth to repair my digital camera as he estimates around RM600 to change the LCD and RM200 to change the lense. I think it’s way too costly to repair this gadget, might as well I buy a new one - BIGGER MEGAPIXELS & MEMORY STICK! Or just get a DSLR..oops! =)
If I get a new one, I may not know what to do with my old Sony. It works fine but not perfectly like before. And I still keep the box with a few stuff in it. I dislikes keeping stuff that are not in use anymore in my room, it consumes space and most of all, dust.
Gosh, what I am supposed to do with the old gadget once I get a new one soon?
P/S: Can I trade-in my old Sony with a new one? LOL!

Hmmm..I just got my MBA offer letter today from a local uni. in Semenanjung but I think I’m going to reject the offer.
The problem is they offered me to do MBA by research for 2 years, not by coursework. Hmmmm…
I’m not so keen doing research, finding resources, interviewing, query here and there. I would rather attend the 3 hours lecture every day - scratching my head on case studies, weekly presentations, reports, interacting with lecturers and course mates.
I guess I better wait for the next intake in December. I think I didn’t get MBA by coursework because I was late applying for my MBA, in a rush contacting my lecturers back and filling up the forms. MY BAD!
Nevermind, there’s always next time!
I miss being a student back. Do you?

I’m at the peak of exhaustion today after my 7 days stay at Normah Medical Centre.
WHY?
I had to accompany my mom starting last week at Normah as she was having muscle and nerve problem and we had to seek the neurology specialist for further treatment. When my mom was admitted to Normah, I knew I had to stay with her. First, the 2 bedded rooms were full so we had to stay at single room on the 3rd floor. Since she had no other choice but to pick the single room, she needed someone to sleep with her and that is me because she was scared to be alone in an unfamiliar room at Normah.
During my first 2 days, I was feeling okay despite driving from Normah to home and vice versa during lunch hour to do chores at home. On the 3rd day, my body started aching due to the non-comfy bed. Well, I brought my old bed (I used it when I was 4-9 years old) along to Normah and seriously, it was short and super thin had to bear sleeping on it for 7 days.
The good thing about staying at Normah was I knew a lot of their nurses their, and their staff! You can say that I did ‘cleanse my eyes’ everyday at Normah. *wink* *wink* Thank God there is nothing serious happened to her. Before she barely could not stand up or even sit. After a few visits to the physio at Normah, she can now walk and sit. Now she’s back home (me too!) doing simple exercise while me continuing with my chores at home!
Aaahh, my bed, my home sweet home!

My friend and I almost end up in the hospital or “somewhere else” but THANK GOD we’re okay!
On the 2nd day of Gawai, my friend’s car skidded at Mile 2 1/2, Kuching and I was inside with them. It was SOOOOOOO SCARYYYY cos the car was on the right lane, skidded to the left lane and hit the side brick of the road and the car almost hit the road divider! But it didn’t and again luckily there was no car behind us or else we would have hit other cars too and it’s gonna be a MAJOR accident for us on Gawai Day. Lucky for us the car did not turned turtle too as both of us didn’t use our seatbelts.
Went out of the car at the middle of the road to check the car’s condition, and THANK GOD there were no dented or scratches on the car. Phew! Even the side lights are okay. Another Phew! Passerbys were slowing down to look at us who were still checking the tires and the front and back of the car. The good thing is there were no ‘kepoh cameramen/women’ snapping photos the car plate number for 4D.
I was stunned of what had happened to us. I was speechless cos it happened so fast. I am grateful that I am still alive. It was a relief that nothing bad happened to us. I am glad my friend, the driver controlled the car well when the car skidded. And I am truly safe cos no other parties involved.
Gosh, THANK GOD I’M STILL ALIVE!
